World Day of Social Justice: Promoting Equality and Solidarity

On February 20th, the World Day of Social Justice is celebrated, providing an ideal opportunity for us to reflect on the challenges we face in our quest for a fair and equitable world for all.

Here at HUMA, we believe that self-awareness also extends to our social sphere, including our awareness of privileges and our actions that positively contribute to society and the communities in which we live. This date was proclaimed by the UN, recognizing the promotion of social justice through policies and actions that address issues such as poverty, unemployment, inequality, human rights, and social exclusion.

What is Social Justice?

Social Justice seeks to ensure access to rights, as provided by law, correcting any inequality, illegality, or disrespect. Social justice is essential for promoting equal opportunities, ensuring respect for human rights, and building more inclusive societies. This day reminds us of the importance of combating discrimination, inequality, and exclusion in all their forms.

It is crucial to renew our commitment to promoting solidarity and understanding among peoples, regardless of their origin, race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic. Let's seize this opportunity to broaden our perspectives and advocate for the creation of policies and practices that promote social justice in our communities, workplaces, and around the world. Always vote conscientiously. =)

Together, we can make a difference and build a more just and inclusive future for all. We are here to help those seeking paths of healing and self-discovery, and we encourage our healthy and fruitful connection with society, using the awakening of consciousness as an impulse to help others!

See you soon!
